Small, steep and multifaceted: the Isarco Valley, the northernmost wine-growing region in South Tyrol and Italy. In the extensive vineyards between Varna and Renon, mainly fruity, juicy and mineral white wines are produced nowadays, some of which are cultivated up to 1000 metres above sea level! The powerful solar radiation and good air circulation in the valley, but also the wide temperature range between very hot days and cool nights, give the wines their character. At first glance, this wine-growing region may seem unusual, but it is precisely these Alpine characteristics that make the Isarco Valley wine what it is today: vigorous, authentic and world-famous!
