The South Tyrolean Chestnut Trail or “Keschtnweg” - as it is known locally - connects the 60 km long sunny slopes between Bolzano and Bressanone in the Valle Isarco. It is part of the Way of St. James. We explore one of the four stages of this trail and start at Roncolo Castle near the town of Bolzano
