Salorno Castle, also known as Haderburg - built upon steep, limestone rocks during the Middle Ages - overlooks Salorno, the most southern village of South Tyrol. The castle with its tavern marks the border between the German and Italian speaking area and can be easily reached by foot in 20 minutes
