Southwest of Vipiteno, Castel Tasso is found on a rocky hilltop. The castle has never been conquered or destroyed, making it one of the most well-preserved castles in South Tyrol. Castel Tasso is open to the public from the beginning of April until the start of November. www.sterzing.com
