The hike around Lake Vernago in the Senales Valley is ideal for families offering beautiful views and landscapes. The artificial reservoir came into operation during the 1950’s a soon as the construction of the 65m high dam wall ended. The lake gets its water supply from the Senales stream. We encounter the stream as well as a few other exciting highlights on our hike, such as the farm trail which leads past some farms which are 700 years old
