Pochi, located at 565 m a.s.l above Salorno, boasts a number of 200 inhabitants. Located about 5 km from Salorno in the Monte Corno Nature Park, this village is mainly characterised by viticulture. Here, on the sunny slopes, the vines thrive particularly well. The parish church of St. Ursula forms the centre of the village.
The well-known “Dürerweg” hiking path, the trail the German artist Albrecht Dürer used for his journey to Venice, also stretches in this area. Due to floodings he had to change his route and took the route via Salorno and the Val di Cembra valley, past Pochi di Salorno.
A visit to the sculpture garden of the South Tyrolean artist Sieglinde Tatz-Borgogno is also worth a visit. The „garden of desire“ boasts more than 200 pieces of art true to the motto “freedom and harmony between arts and nature”.
