On the Sarentino Valley Circuit you will pass by the mountain hamlet of Pozza, with the farms of Pozza di Sopra and the little church

An impressive 1,500 m a.s.l. is the altitude at which the residents wake up here every morning: The small village of Pozza is located on the slopes at the beginning of the Val Sarentino valley. Old mountain farms and some newer buildings make up the small village on the east side of Mt. Monzoccolo.
On the different fault scarps there are wonderful places like the Hauserberg Hut, a cosy mountain hut with a beautiful view as far as the Dolomites and home-made local dishes. Below it stands the small church at the Croce di Pozza (Pozza Cross) and a little further down the farms of Pozza (Putzen). Opposite is the other side of the valley with the brown-red Sarentino gap. Its mighty, almost vertical porphyry walls break off towards the Sarentino Valley - an impressive scenery.
From the pilgrimage site of Croce di Pozza, a hike follows secluded forest paths and takes you up to the Stallner Wände viewpoint. If you prefer to walk downhill, you can follow the old pilgrims' path to Sarentino village and enjoy all the comforts of a larger centre in the main village of Sarentino. In winter there are snowshoe hikers in the area, in addition is the local San Martino Skiing Area, widely known as Reinswald, which can be reached in half an hour by car.
