This beautiful winter hike leads through the snowy forests of the Val di Fleres and ends with a funny, not too demanding sledge ride

At the village entrance of Fleres or Fleres di Dentro (Innerpflersch), 12 km from the motorway exit Colle Isarco (Gossensass), we park our car and start our winter hike on the forest road marked with the sign "Allriss Alm" (Allriss Mountain Hut). In winter, the road turns into a sledge run, which climbs uphill through the snow-covered woods on the shady side of the Val di Fleres valley.
The not too steep ascent leads us in five turns to the inviting Allriss Mountain Hut at 1,534 m a.s.l., which is led by the family of the former Italian ski racer Patrick Staudacher (Super-G World Champion in Åre 2007): We enjoy our relaxing break before we start the downhill run by sledge. It is one of the toboggan runs in the Valle Isarco.
The sledge run - also suitable for children and not too experienced tobogganists - has the right inclination to have fun without risking too much. So the return to the starting point is the highlight of a beautiful winter day in the Upper Valle Isarco. This tour is also a beautiful summer hike. Notice: The data indicated refer to the entire route, including return trip, on foot.
