Guaranteed snow at the foot of the Cima Altissima mountain awaits you in Plan in the rear Passiria Valley

In the Valle di Plan, a side valley of the Val Passiria, lies the village of Plan at the foot of Mt. Cima delle Anime and the Cima Altissima. These two peaks soar over 3,400 metres into the sky. The eponymous ski resort, one of the most snow-sure in South Tyrol, boasts 18 kilometres of pistes and four lifts that transport you up to the Karjoch saddle. One of these is the Grünboden Express, which departs from the edge of Plan. Plan itself has been a car-free village for over a decade, focusing on sustainable mobility. A shuttle bus takes you through the mountain village.
The steepest descent is the one-kilometre-long black run known as the "Wand". Among the longest runs are Grünboden I, Obere Böden I and Karjoch. Families can enjoy the Murmi Snow Park and the Plan Ski School with courses for children's groups, carving, race training, and snowboarding. In the professional camp, world-renowned ski stars train on closed pistes for their upcoming races.
Night skiing on the Gampen Lift is particularly popular. Plan Val Passiria (Pfelders Passeier) offers a comprehensive range of winter activities: skiing (with the Ortler Skiarena pass), ice skating on natural ice, cross-country skiing and tobogganing on two runs, including a family toboggan run.
