Skiing in King Laurin’s Realm: Carezza Dolomites awaits with sunny slopes and spectacular views of the Catinaccio Group

Ski at the foot of the legendary Catinaccio: Nestled in the Val d'Ega valley near Bolzano is the Carezza Dolomites Ski Area. Lifts depart directly from the village of Carezza and now also from San Cipriano near Tires. There, the new cabrio cable car with panoramic balcony whisks you up to the Frommer Mountain Hut. From there, the "King Laurin" Gondola takes you to the mountain station at the Fronza alle Coronelle Hut (Kölner Hütte), at an altitude of 2,337 metres. A ski bus connects the Passo di Costalunga with Obereggen and Nova Ponente.
The 40 kilometres of slopes mainly run at lower altitudes and predominantly offer easy descents. A highlight for snowboarders is the Tschein slope with the Carezza Snow Park. Here, three lines and the impressive backdrop of the annual Snowboard World Cup await. Family-friendliness is paramount: In addition to two ski schools, there are three children's areas - King Laurin's with a themed slope, the Nani-Land Frommer Mountain Hut with a height-adjustable lift, and the Vigo di Fassa children's area on the Trentino side. A new addition is the Laurins Lounge viewpoint. The Hubertus toboggan run and two cross-country ski trails complete the winter offerings.
With the Carezza-Val di Fassa ski pass, you can easily reach the Passo Sella and the Passo Pordoi, and thus the famous Sella Ronda. Carezza Dolomites is also part of Dolomiti Superski. So, if you spend more than one day in the Carezza Dolomites Ski Area, you can extend your skiing pleasure to Dolomiti Superski and the slopes of the partner ski resort Val di Fassa. As a member of the "Turn to zero" initiative and an "Alpine Climate Ski Resort", Carezza Dolomites focuses on sustainable mobility and environmentally friendly measures such as Green Events and water reservoirs.
