3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort

Five ski mountains between Dobbiaco, San Candido and the Comelico Valley offer a diverse skiing experience in the Dolomites

The award-winning 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort in the Upper Val Pusteria encompasses the skiing areas of Croda Rossa, Monte Elmo, Monte Baranci, Passo Monte Croce di Comelico, Rienza, Dobbiaco, Braies, Waldheim in Sesto and the Comelico Valley in the Province of Belluno. The individual areas are easily accessible by ski shuttle and train from anywhere in the region. In addition, the Ski Pustertal Express connects the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort with the Plan de Corones Ski Area every 30 minutes. Awaiting you are 115 kilometres of slopes and 31 lifts.

The heart of the ski resort is the Monte Elmo-Orto del Toro-Croda Rossa (Helm-Stiergarten-Rotwand) interconnected area, featuring the new 3 Zinnen Dolomites Cable Car. The new Porzen 6-seater chairlift on the Croda Rossa (Rotwand), along with the extended slope from the Signaue mountain station to the Porzen valley station, opens in the 2024/25 ski season. Above Above San Candido lies the Monte Baranci (Haunold), a family paradise that also offers floodlit night skiing.

The Monte Croce Pass is known for its wide slopes, including the Marc Girardelli run, not far from the Belluno ski area of Val Comelico. Two lifts each in the smaller ski areas of Braies, Waldheim and Dobbiaco, with ideal slopes for beginners, complete the offering. A special experience is the "Giro delle Cime", a 34-kilometre ski tour through the Dolomites World Heritage Site. Thrill-seekers and snowboarders will also find their terrain here: several snow parks, spread across the individual areas, and the "Holzriese", Italy's steepest daily groomed slope. All skiing areas are accessible with the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski pass and the Dolomiti Superski pass. Efforts are underway to connect with the Austrian ski resort of Thurntaler in the coming years.
