Mt. Col Toronn, or Col Turond, is a panoramic balcony opposite the Sella Group, high above the Passo Gardena

Starting point for your tour is the parking space - subject to charge - at the end of the Vallunga valley (Langental), branching off in Selva Gardena (Wolkenstein in Gröden). Alone the position of the parking space, at the foot of the rock faces is spectacular. From here we proceed on skis towards the head of the valley and the St. Sylvester Chapel, where a path used for walking in summer takes into the Val Chedul valley. Pitilessly steep we walk up the forest (be careful, often icy). The forest clears and we walk along the foot of the mighty rock walls of Mt. Desseura.
At the end of the valley, there is a steep slope under the Forcella Crespeina ridge (2,528 m a.s.l.), which is overcome in kick turns. From the top of the ridge you can proceed a little further with skis on the right, then you take off your skis and walk to the top of Mt. Col Toronn. Otherwise you walk round the rocks below in order to reach the highest point. In case of reliable snow conditions and avalanche risks you can also scale the 2,652 m high mountain on skis without circuitous route to the Forcella Crespeina ridge. Highly impressive is this tour from a natural and panoramic angle - the view includes the Sciliar Massif and above all the Sella Group. Ski down along the way up.
Highly impressive tour from a panoramic angle, along the foot of enormous rock faces of the Dolomites with very steep, but also very flat passages!
