Innovative and modern is the new leisure facility in the town of Vipiteno, called Balneum. No matter if you prefer swimming, hot vapour, cool delights or pure relax, there is something for every taste. The ground floor is equipped with a huge sports basin, a relax and teaching pool with massage loungers, a jet stream canal and a spa bath. Moreover there is a baby and toddler basin. A huge outdoor pool, a children's pool and a lawn for sunbathing is available in summertime.
On the upper floor you can find the spacious sauna world with integrated beauty area. Here, visitors can choose from a wide variety of different saunas: Herb Sauna, Stone Sauna, Crystal Bath, cooling grotto, regenerating showers, relax lounges "Hay dream", "Wave dream" and "Pine", a chimney room and juice bar... the modern ambience makes relaxation a cinch! The outdoor area, however, offers a Finnish outdoor sauna, the relaxing room "Sterzinger Moos", a hot whirlpool and a terrace for sunbathing. In the bistro-cafe you can plan a final retreat after an afternoon in the Balneum bathing world. This is where you get treats for your palate!

More information
Access to the sauna for children and young people up to 16 years only at the families' sauna.
Also 3-hour tickets for the swimming pool and for sauna with swimming pool available. The sauna is accessible from Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 10 pm. Ladies' sauna every Monday (except on public holidays and school holidays) from 2 pm to 6 pm, families' sauna Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 4.30 pm.
The Balneum stays open every day all year round, except during the maintenance works from early to mid-September. In summer - from early June to early September - also the outdoor pool opens.
