A widely known vintage car rally excites visitors to Scena in the Merano region every year in the month of July
It is called the "Rally of Sympathy": The Südtirol Classic Scena, which has been held in the Merano region for almost four decades, is a Mediterranean rally in the heart of the Alps. It's not just about vintage vehicles, but also about the magnificent mountain world and the good South Tyrolean cuisine. The participants from all over Europe meet in the holiday village of Scena with their Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Volkswagen and co. and then conquer the country roads and mountain passes.
Participation is open to properly registered vehicles built up to 1975. The famous Südtirol Classic Scena consists of a cultural programme and a rally programme, which presents the stunning cars in the village centre, and which includes in these five festival days also the Classic Welcome Evening with live music at the Raiffeisen Square and several panorama tours.
The final evening with award ceremony at the Kurhaus Merano and the morning pint on the last day, a Sunday, conclude the programme... until the next year.
