Rock im Ring on the Renon

Sitting on the grass, summer wind, something to drink, live music... all the ingredients for a festival summer. That's what the Rock im Ring Festival on the Renon offers, which has been attracting young and old to the Ritten Arena for a few festival days for years. This is where the ice rink is located in winter, where international tournaments take place, and there is plenty of space: The large sports centre is hosting two stages and more than 25 music bands on this weekend in July.

For around three decades now, here in Collalbo (Klobenstein), the music programme, the rich supporting programme, the delicacies from local and international cuisine, the range of fresh drinks on offer and the extensive camping area have been transformed into a cult event whose tickets are highly coveted. Names from the local music scene and international bands include Sepultura and Bilderbuch, Mando Diao and The Hives, Juliette Lewis and Fettes Brot.
