The Merano WineFestival is considered one of the most exclusive events in the world of wine, presenting the best wines selected by a degustation committee from hundreds of producers in the world. It takes place in different places around the old town of Merano: A highlight of the festival ist the Catwalk Champagne & More at the Kurhaus, a journey through the luxury and freshness of sparkling wines, presented by producers from different countries including Italy and France.
In the frame of this event in Merano also the bio&dynamica with 170 exhibitor tables at the Kurhaus and the Hotel Terme Merano to promote sustainable and ethical wine production, and the WineHunter Masterclass - tastings guided by experts to delve into the world of oenology - take place. The original three-day Merano WineFestival in November has been extended to 5-6 days.
