South Tyrol offers another international cross-country ski race: the La Venosta ITT (Individual Time Trial)
For some years now, South Tyrol has been enriched by an additional international winter sports event: the La Venosta ITT (Individual Time Trial) in mid-January. It is part of the 16th stage of the Ski Classics Pro Tour, a series of cross-country ski races.
The Vallelunga, dedicated to soft and sustainable tourism, is the perfect place: It is a power place for hikers in summer and for cross-country skiers and ski tourers in winter. Its tracks belong to the Venosta Nordic cross-country skiing association. The La Venosta ITT cross-country ski race is a 12-kilometer time trial in classic technique with starting point in Melago at the head of the valley.
