Christmas in Dobbiaco in the Alta Val Pusteria, Christmas in the area of the famous Three Peaks of Lavaredo: from the end of November until 6 January, small wooden stalls built in the style of the Grand Hotel Dobbiaco invite you to spend unique moments during the "Natale sotto le Tre Cime" (Drei Zinnen Weihnacht). The heart of this Christmas market consists of the pavilion. In this Christmas shop you can purchase traditional handicrafts and regional organic products. During the Krampus parade and the Lunga Notte (Long Night), as well as on other special occasions, this shop is also open in the evening.

At the weekends during Christmas time also Dobbiaco's shops offer their products. At the Garni Café Sport children can participate in a special ForKIDS programme which includes activities such as picture theatre, face painting and several games. Other highlights worth mentioning are the New Year's Eve festival, the opening ceremony of the COOP FIS Tour de Ski and the inauguration of the Dolomiti Ballonweek with folk music. The Dolomiti Ballonweek concludes the "Natale sotto le Tre Cime" event and launches the beginning of the International Dolomiti Balloon Festival

The shops, restaurants and hotels of Dobbiaco join the lottery of the Christmas market. Every purchase or meal consumed at the restaurant allows you to take part in this Christmas lottery and win interesting prizes including a ski pass for the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort, a hot-air balloon tour, a voucher for the "Toblach 3 Zinnen Dobbiaco" or a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
