Christmas in the Dolomites

Christmas in Dobbiaco in the Upper Val Pusteria, Christmas in the land of the famous Three Peaks of Lavaredo: From the end of November until January 6, small huts, reminiscent of the style of the Grand Hotel Dobbiaco, invite you to linger. This is when the "Christmas in the Dolomites" (Drei Zinnen Weihnacht) takes place. At its heart is the pavilion, the centrepiece of the event. Inside this Christmas Shop, you'll find authentic artisan crafts and regional organic products. On special occasions, such as the Krampus parade or the Long Night, it stays open later in the evening.

On weekends during the "Christmas in the Dolomites", the shops in Dobbiaco are also open for shopping. At the Garni Café Sport, children can enjoy the ForKIDS programme with picture theatre, face painting, and games. Other highlights, the "Magic Moments", include the New Year's Eve party, the opening ceremony of the COOP FIS Tour de Ski Opening, and the launch of the Dolomiti Balloon Week with folk music. The latter marks the end of the "Christmas in the Dolomites" and simultaneously ushers in the International Dolomiti Balloon Festival.

The shops, restaurants, and accommodations in Dobbiaco have joined forces for the Christmas Market. With every purchase or restaurant visit, you can participate in the Christmas raffle and win attractive prizes, such as a ski pass for the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort or a hot air balloon ride, a "Toblach 3 Zinnen Dobbiaco" voucher or a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
