In Campo Tures, you'll find not just an ordinary Christmas Market, but an enchanting Christmas Forest. Near Cantuccio (Bad Winkel), just outside the village, the winter hiking trail leads to the impressive Riva Waterfalls. Nestled among the trees, you'll discover small wooden huts and charming wooden forest animals - all examples of local craftsmanship. If you fancy a relaxed ride, a horse-drawn carriage departs every 20 minutes from 3 pm, taking you to the first waterfall.
The "Advent in Tures Taufers" takes place on December weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and offers a varied programme. The Goasroscht cheese dairy entices visitors with roasted chestnuts, cheese tastings, and a charming Christmas café upstairs. In the shop of the Sheep Wool Museum, you'll find original gift ideas - many cosy and useful items for wearing and for the home - and hot sausages and drinks are available in the garden of the museum.
Look forward to a visit from St. Nicholas and the Krampus run, a Feuerzangenbowle, which is a hot Christmas punch, biscuits and cakes, and the chance to enjoy the traditional "Melchermuis" with Michl. The event is easily accessible by bus. From the Campo Tures-Cascade bus stop, it's just a short walk to the Christmas Forest. Additionally, the Taufra Xmas Sessions with fire shows and live music take place at various locations between Campo Tures and Molini di Tures.
