Local musicians convince the audience with their sound: Almost every village has its own music band
Street concerts, summer concerts, Easter and Christmas concerts are offered every year by local bands. Furthermore there are special events such as the South Tyrol Jazz Festival and competitions including the Busoni International Piano Competition and the Appiano Piano Academy which present and support international stars and young talents. Victor Hugo knew 200 years ago that "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent."
