The golf architect Thomas C. Himmel planned the golf course in Appiano on the Wine Road, which attracts with many water areas and the gorgeous landscape of the region. The 9-hole golf course is playable from mid-February to mid-November. Ideally suited for experienced players, the golf club offers also a Driving Range, Putting Green, Pitching Green, Bunker and a Club House.
You find it inmidst the orchards between Riva di Sotto di Appiano and Andriano. A practice area with four holes and 16 spots to drive off however, perfectly suited to beginners, can be found 4 km away near Freudenstein Castle, above the village of San Michele Appiano.

The Appiano Golf Club "The Blue Monster" stays open every day from mid-February to mid-November. It remains closed in the other three months.
The restaurant "The Grill House @ Golf&Country" is open from Tuesday to Saturday from noon time to 3 pm, and from 7 pm to 10 pm, Sunday and Monday rest days. The pizzeria is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm to 11 pm, Sunday and Monday from noon time to 9 pm, and the wine bar from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 am to midnight, and Sunday and Monday till 10 pm.
Season start 2025 in mid-February.
