Easy walk across blossoming meadows and shady forests from Avelengo up to the Moschwald and Maiser Mountain Huts

We would like to enjoy the last days of May in Avelengo and choose to make a walk. Starting from Avelengo di Sopra (Hafling Oberdorf), we follow the path no. 15, first across meadows and then through the needle forest, comfortably towards the tree line.
If you would like to, there are also cut-offs in the forest (signpost 15A). We remain on the wide gravel trail, which follows the asphalted road. When the forest becomes less dense, there is the Malga Moschwald mountain hut (Moschwald Alm), surrounded by larch forests. For now we've walked for about 90 minutes. If you are hungry, this is the right place to stop.
After a snack we decide to walk a little further up to the Malga Maiser mountain hut (Maiser Alm), and to take a sunbath in the meadows. Instead of walking on the same path, at the Moschwald Mountain Hut we take the right (no. 51) to Falzeben. The last section of the ascent follows the trail no. 14 down to Avelengo di Sopra.
