Almost every little village offers its own Christmas Market, but only five markets belong to the "Original South Tyrolean Christmas Markets": Bolzano, Merano, Brunico, Bressanone and Vipiteno. Various attractions, a children's programme, Christmas carols, the flavour of Christmas bakery in the air and a glass of hot mulled wine as well as accompanying events such as the Devil's Run or toboggan nights await you. They are completed by the rural Christmas Markets such as the Advent Farmers' Market in Scena near Merano and the Christmas in the Dolomites in Dobbiaco.
