The four-seater chairlift whisks you from San Candido village in the Upper Val Pusteria up to an altitude of 1,500 metres, where the expansive alpine meadows of the Monte Baranci, or Haunold, await. A special highlight awaits you there: the summer toboggan run, where you can whiz down into the valley on aluminium rails. You steer just like in a bobsleigh - you control the speed.
The 1,739-metre-long track covers a vertical drop of 314 metres. Children under seven years old may only ride with an adult - from age eight, they must ride in their own Fun Bob (ID required).
Expect possible wait times in the afternoon. By the way, besides the Fun Bob, there are other attractions on the almost 3,000-metre-high Monte Baranci, such as the dwarf village in the Realm of the Giant Baranci, barefoot lakes, a small tubing run, two climbing courses, and a relax zone.
In winter, the Monte Baranci transforms into one of the ski mountains of the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort. How to get to the Fun Bob? From the San Candido train station, the valley station is about a ten-minute walk, and the bus takes only three minutes. The chairlift departs from there.

Tickets are available for 3 or 5 rides on the Fun Bob, as well as "Fun Bob Unlimited" tickets (including uphill lift rides until 12.30 noon time and Fun Bob rides until noon time).
The Fun Bob on Mount Baranci operates every day from early June to mid-October - the season refers to the summer season of the Monte Baranci Chairlift, which takes you to the Fun Bob.
Season start 2025 on June 7.
