Above Burgusio near Malles Venosta, the Watles Adventure Lake or Spielesee Watles invites visitors to spend a special day in summer. "Berg 360°" already proclaims the wooden installation at 2,150 m a.s.l. The adventure lake is located below the mountain station of the cable car and the Plantapatsch mountain restaurant. On its 1,500 sqm area, it offers a wooden raft, a large suspension bridge, 2 metres high waterfalls, funballz and a small stream to pan for gold. The lake is very shallow with a maximum depth of 40 cm. Ideal for hot summer days!
Meanwhile, the adults can relax on the beach with wooden loungers or at one of the picnic stations. But there are also some highlights waiting for them: free running course and Kneipp course, archery facility and the "Watles Rider" mountain carts, which replace the descent by cable car. A forest path, which serves as a sledge run in winter, leads 4 km down to the valley.
In winter finally, the Watles turns into a popular winter sports destination, featuring its own skiing area and a beautiful winter hike up to the top of the Piz Watles - a stunning view is included.
