A forest, a rest point and stunning waterfalls - the Riva di Tures Marble Forest is a special place for children

Near the original village of Riva di Tures (Rein in Taufers), is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in South Tyrol: the Riva Waterfalls. Once it was the hot summer months when they were much visited and provided cooling, today families, hikers and nature lovers also come here in spring, autumn and winter when the three waterfalls present themselves iced up.
A few years ago, a snack station was built at the beginning of the path to the Riva Waterfalls, at the chargeable hikers' car park in Bad Winkel, also known as Bagni Cantuccio in Italian language. The Waterfall Bar offers small souvenirs, coffee and some meals to take a break here. Right next to it is the Marble Forest, two lanes for wooden marbles that lead past various stations. Bells ring, obstacles are rolled around and the marbles hit their target when they have made their way downwards. They can be bought at the vending machine and kept afterwards.
