A family-friendly theme trail with a magnificent view is dedicated to the Lorggen, the former inhabitants of the Plose

The adventure circular trail on the local mountain of Bressanone was named after the Lorggen, who are presented here as figures and stations. As you might have guessed, old legends and stories play an important role, because many inexplicable things used to be associated with witches, ghosts and small mystical figures. The 8 km long trail can be done in 2.5 hours.
It starts at the mountain station above Sant'Andrea. First the hike follows the WoodyWalk Plose to a viewing platform, where trail no. 17C branches off. In the forest, the ancient guardians of the forest and today's forest dwellers are introduced. The Pfannspitz Cable Car then takes you easily and quickly to 2,545 m a.s.l., with an unforgettable view on the Odle Group.
Along the ridge of the Pfannspitz you finally reach the Plose Mountain Hut, and from there we return to Valcroce (Kreuztal), to the mountain station of the Plose Cable Car (paths no. 7 and 3), where the circular hike ends. By the way, not long ago also the Plosebob has been inaugurated in this area, a mountain coaster. It operates during the summer and the winter season, when the local mountain of Bressanone turns into the Plose Skiing Area.

** includes one ascent and descent by Plose Cable Car and by Pfannspitz Cable Car. The opening hours refer to the ones of the Pfannspitz Cable Car, which takes you to the theme trail: It operates every day from the mid-June to early October, lunch break from 12.40 noon time to 1.35 pm.
Season start 2025 on June 14.
The Plose Cable Car to the WoodyWalk, however, operates already from May 24, 2025, on: It stays open every day from 9 am to 6 pm resp. 5 pm, till the end of the season on October 19, 2025.
