Two adventure parks await families in the Gitschberg Jochtal ski and holiday area: the Gitschberg Sun Park and the Jochtal Adventure Park, called Erlebnispark Jochtal in German. One extends in the alpine meadows high above Maranza, the other in the heights of the Valles Valley above the village of Valles. This is also where the Jochtal Cable Car starts and ends at the mountain station at an altitude of more than 2,000 m. Then the journey of discovery in the clear mountain air begins: The Jochtal Adventure Park is a family trail with a petting zoo, water park and balance course.
Then it's time to visit the climbing deer, the chimes in the forest, the wooden tractor and the wooden sun, the climbing bear and the hammocks where you can enjoy a short rest. The end point of the adventure park, which is also accessible with prams, is the Steinermandl panoramic platform, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view on the mountains of Valles. Several mountain huts nearby offer refreshments: the Nock Hut, the Malga dei Buoi and the Jochtal Hut.
