The Winklerhof in the Valle Isarco valley is particularly popular with hikers, as it lies directly on the Chestnut Trail The old farm was already mentioned in a document in 1314. In addition to the traditional and tasty dishes, the farm offers its own wines, which guests can enjoy on the beautiful sun terrace as well as in the rustic parlour.
"Speck", cheese, smoked sausage, home-made bread from own grain, cheese gnocchi, "Schlutzer" spinach ravioli, spinach dumplings. Barley soup, cold and hot meat cuts with cabbage and dumplings, "Krapfen" pastries filled with spinach, as well as apple fritters to advance order. In spring herb gnocchi soup and neddle as well as asparagus dishes. In autumn on request, barley soup and plate with cabbage and dumplings. Juice: apple, blackcurrant, elderflower, raspberry and grape.
Sylvaner, Bronner, a red cuvée and Portugieser are produced on the farm from own grapes.

Opening times
Open from September 15 to December 15 from noon to midnight. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Advanced booking recommended. Open from March 1 to May 30 at weekends upon advance booking.

Access route: On the road from Chiusa to Ponte Gardena turn right at the "Kalchgruber" trading estate and take the road to the hamlet of San Maurizio for about 2 km.
