The Luggin family serves organic delicacies from South Tyrolean farmhouse cuisine

The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at S. Nicolò, a district of Caldaro and a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery.
Home-made bread, Speck, beef 'carpaccio', Graukäse cheese. Salads, dumplings as well as ravioli with seasonal fillings, 'Schlutzer' spinach ravioli, Caldaro polenta, pressed dumplings, round of schnaps with cooked neck of pork, meat dishes with various side dishes, 'Tirtlen' fritters, pancake with apple, apricot dumplings, apple fritters, various cakes and 'Krapfen' sweet pastries. In autumn home-made sausages with cabbage and meat cuts. Juices: apple, apple-blackcurrant, grape, elderflower, raspberry.
Wines such as Piwandi, Odorus, Rosé, Mont Vin, Lavardi and Aritos are produced on the farm from own grapes.

Opening times
Open from mid-March to the beginning of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 pm. Booking recommended.
More information
Access route: From the centre of Caldaro towards the Passo Mendola until the entrance to the district of San Nicolò. Park your car here and walk the last 200 metres to the farm inn. The Steffelehof is also reachable by the citybus of Caldaro and the public bus coming from Bolzano.
