The 2 km long Tirolo Wine Trail - "Weinweg Dorf Tirol" in German, "Sentiero del Vino di Tirolo" in Italian - tells at various stations about wine growing in the area of Tirolo and its surroundings, the history of the area, and the individual wine varieties. In summer, the walk, which offers beautiful views on the majestic Tyrol Castle and other castles, leads through the green vines, in autumn they shine in different shades of yellow. An ideal complement to the popular Tirolo Apple Trail.
The Wine Trail starts at the Tirolo information office, and leads you to the Vicolo dei Castagni alley and from there through the vineyards, up to 599 m a.s.l. It continues to the Falkner Promenade towards "Doss", and then a detour to Fontana Castle is possible, which houses an Agriculture Museum and is home to a number of animals. Afterwards, the Wine Trail proceeds via the Castle Path and the main road back to the starting point. Walking time: about 1 hour.
