The Taser Mountain Hut - "Taser Alm" in German, "Malga Taser" in Italian - is an ideal place for a family adventure trip. Located at 1,450 m a.s.l., at the mountain station you will look over the chapel, the restaurant and the accommodation facilities situated between woods and meadows. The numerous paths, on which you can explore Montescena, start directly at the hut.
Children's hearts leap for joy at the adventure hut with its large outdoor playground, the archery range and a small alpine zoo. To recover from the adventure we recommend a stop at the restaurant with its traditional cuisine and its comfortable indoor and outdoor ambience.
The dishes are prepared with ingredients produced on the farm, as fresh milk and beef. As a light meal we recommend a glass of wine with speck or an apple strudel with an Italian Cappuccino. And how to reach it? The hut can be comfortably reached by cable car. The hike along the Scena Waalweg path leads to its valley station, whereas the Taser High Route leads past the hut itself.

The opening hours correspond to those of the cable car, which takes you to the Taser Hut: It operates every half hour and full hour. The cable car and the hut stay open in summer and in autumn, closed in Advent (early December to Christmas) and in winter (January to early April).
Winter season start 2024/25 on December 25, summer season start 2025 on April 5.
The mountain restaurant offers warm dishes from noon time to 2.30 pm and snacks (except during the Christmas holidays) after 2.30 pm: It stays open from Saturday to Wednesday till November 3, 2024, from Thursday to Sunday from November 4, and every day during the Christmas holidays.
