Fiè Pond Information Point

Besides the new Sciliar-Catinaccio Visitor Centre in Siusi and the Steger Saw Information Point in Bagni di Lavina Bianca, there is another information point regarding the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, which is located at the car park of the Fiè Pond. This valuable biotope is a popular excursion destination, attracting numerous people. In summer, you can even swim in its waters.

The small building made of wood and stone in Fiè di Sopra provides information about the flora and fauna around the lake, in the reeds and in the wetlands. Special attention is paid to the bird life in the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park. Information material to take away completes the offer. An easy 45-minutes hike takes you from the lake to the Tuff Mountain Hut, surrounded by alpine meadows. In winter, the Fiè Pond turns into an ice skating rink, whereas the return from the Tuff Hut promises fun on the toboggan - in these months, however, the information point stays closed.
