The visitor centre of the Monte Corno Nature Park in the centre of Trodena awaits you with plenty of experiences

In an old restored mill in Trodena village, the Monte Corno Visitor Centre offers interesting details about the nature park. Among others you can find microscopically small flower pollen, different species of scorpions and lichens as well as an impressive living anthill. The outdoor area is dedicated to the local geology and formed with typical vegetation of porphyry and limestone. Another information centre can be found 30 km away: the Cauria Information Point near Salorno.
A unique electrically-operated bucket elevator mill, which is still fully functional, can also be lionised. In summer they mill flour here and make bread in the old woodstove which can be tasted afterwards. Children, however, can look forwards to the badger Daksy, the mascot of the South Tyrolean nature parks: He awaits the little ones with games in Daksy's Kids' Workshop. The ideal complement to the visit is the pleasant hike on the Trodena Legend Trail above the village.
