The South Tyrol Museum of Mining - "Landesmuseum Bergbau" in German, "Museo Provinciale delle Miniere" in Italian -, one of the Provincial Museums of South Tyrol, comprises four locations: the Museum in a Grain Store in Cadipietra and the Predoi Mine with its Climate Gallery in the Valle Aurina valley, as well as the two locations Ridanna in the Upper Valle Isarco and Monteneve in the Val Passiria (in the picture), the highest located mine of Europe at more than 2,300 m a.s.l.
