The Trebo family, who runs the Al Plan Dolomites Hotel, has a private collection of wall clocks and masks, corkscrews and pipes, coffee grinders and religious objects, vintage cars and Vespas up to 150 years old. Especially nostalgics will get their money's worth with all the enchanting objects from flea markets, junk shops and antique shops.
Clocks of all kinds, shapes and sizes were also collected during 25 years of collecting by the owner family. Once a year they are set by a guest and tick for a whole day, from 9 am to 9 pm. For the rest of the year they stand still again, because time in the middle of the South Tyrolean mountains should not be determined by the clock.
The inventory also includes six life-size wooden statues with clothes and hairstyles from bygone times. They seem to keep themselves quiet company. But sometimes the landlord puts them in his car, and then they go on a big tour... And how to reach the museum? It is located in the Strada Ciasè road in San Vigilio di Marebbe, parking facilities are available.
