Val Gardena dresses to the nines Val Gardena folklore festival

The traditional costumes of the Val Gardena are known far beyond its boarders. Every year, on the first weekend of August, they are shown on a big festival, which is alternately hosted by one of the three villages of the Val Gardena. During the day, various traditional dishes and drinks are offered by the Hockey Club Gardena.

10:30 am - Opening of the tent with typical dishes
4:30 pm - Musical entertainment with the group “Böhmische St. Christina”
7:00 pm - Dance group “Beat And Line”
8:30 pm - Musical entertainment with the group “The Waydlee”
11:00 pm - Music with DJ Simon

Sunday, 04.08.2024
10:30 am - Opening of the tent with typical dishes
2:00 pm - Musical entertainment with the music band from Bulla
4:30 pm - Start of the parade “Val Gardena in Costume”
5:00 pm - Arrival of the parade at Piazza S. Antonio / Performance of musical bands from Val Gardena / Greetings and presentation of the traditional costumes
5:30 pm - Performance of the folk dance group Ortisei
6:00 pm - Concert by the music band from Ortisei
6:30 pm - Performance of the folk dance group Selva/S.Cristina
8:00 pm - Musical entertainment with the group “Arton Duo”
