Approach on the Timmelsjoch high alpine road to the parking space at the Timmelsbrücke bridge. Ascent from there via the forest road to the Timmelsalm and on to the lake "Großer Schwarzsee". Continue the ascent on trail no. 30 to the Schwarzwandscharte and finally without a path to the nearby summit. Magnificent vies of the largest glacier in South Tyrol, the Übertalferner, and the highest mountain hut in South Tyrol, the Becherhaus. The descent follows the same route.
Attention: Good physical condition required!
