Summit Tour: Finding place of Ötzi

Approach into the Schnalstal Valley (ca. 1 hour) to the starting point in Vernagt/Vernago. The ascent is via Tisental Valley to the Similaunhütte at 3,020 m. After a rest, the route continues over partly pathless boulder terrain to the discovery site, where a stone pyramid stands. Here you will find lots of information about how Ötzi was found. The descent follows the same route. Attention: Good physcial condition required!
