Description

The Lantern Festival for St. Martin's Day in the heart of Bolzano's Old Town on November 11, 2024, promises to be a particularly atmospheric event. The procession starts at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall Square and winds through the picturesque streets of the old town. Children and families are invited to bring their colorful lanterns and participate in this traditional celebration.
The procession will be accompanied by music from the Franciscan High School choir, which will sing traditional songs. At the end of the parade, all children will be invited to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. In addition, the Franciscan bakery will give each child a bread, to convey the message of sharing, which is at the heart of St. Martin's Day.

This feast offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community and experience the spirit of sharing and solidarity.
