La coppa del mondo di slittino a Nova Ponente si svolge sulla pista naturale „Pfösl Riep“, che è una delle più conosciute in Alto Adige. Il tracciato è impegnativo e offre agli atleti una combinazione di curve strette e passaggi tecnici. Si snoda attraverso il bellissimo paesaggio altoatesino ed è molto apprezzato da atleti e spettatori per la sua difficoltà e bellezza paesaggistica.
