Nostalgia Race at Watles

This year, the Watles ski resort will once again embark on a journey through time, with a nostalgic atmosphere throughout the entire ski area.

In March, when winter is traditionally driven out in the Upper Vinschgau Valley and the entire region is already bathed in sunshine, fans of traditional skiing meet at the Watles adventure mountain for a very special event. On this day, enthusiasts of authentic skiing will be on the slopes in vintage ski suits and outfits from the Luis Trenker era, such as Norwegian sweaters or with Loden jackets and hats, and women in skirts, all with classic wooden skis. The day culminates in a lively celebration with regional specialties (food like in the old days) and, instead of après-ski, there will be a waltz at the ski lodge.
