Description

Extrametric is the solo project of Berlin-based drummer Katharina Ernst, who has made a name for herself with her innovative approach to polyrhythms. Born in Vienna, Ernst is one of the most exciting drummers of her generation. With Extrametric, she explores the complexity of polyrhythms and creates music that ranges from groovy tracks to abstract compositions and ecstatic outbursts on the drumset.
Katharina Ernst has performed extensively throughout Europe with Extrametric, wowing audiences with her virtuosity and creativity. Her ability to create both rousing grooves and complex soundscapes makes her a unique voice in the contemporary music scene. Now she is bringing her project to Brixen for the first time, where the audience can experience the fascinating soundscapes of Extrametric.
