70th anniversary of the first ascent of K2 in 1954
On Friday, 13 December, the exhibition about Erich Abram will be opened.
Abram, an experienced mountaineer and helicopter pilot, is known to have been involved in the first ascent of K2, but not only. His mountaineering career includes several first ascents in the Dolomites.
He is also known for his skills as a pilot: He carried out numerous rescue missions and was also involved in training rescuers and mountain guides.
