In the wake of the recent lindy hop revival, the band tackles the repertoire of the swing orchestras that animated dance halls in the early 20th century: a
soundtrack that accompanied the movements of the Charleston and balboa. A project created to celebrate the energy of acoustic jazz from the ‘born in the slums of Harlem and became à la page in Parisian cafés and bistros. Parisian cafés and bistros, paying homage to a precious art form that, together with literature and cinema, contributed to the reconquest of freedom denied in the era of the great world wars.
