A musical event dedicated to the plectrum music of the mandolin orchestra founded in Bolzano in 1947.

The orchestra, conducted by Ugo Orrigo, will offer a program that draws on the tradition of the plectrum orchestra among original music and transcriptions along with some new repertoire that intends to combine the mandolin as a versatile instrument by traversing the different musical seasons up to the pieces of contemporary composers in a musical journey full of colors, styles and emotions.
Works by Hermann Ambrosius, Amadeo Amadei, Leopold Mozart, Salvatore Falbo, Alberto La Rocca, Raffaele Calace, Bruno Szordikovski, S. Alfonso Maria de' Liguori, Franz Xaver Gruber.
