Cinque Torri: a jewel in the Dolomites

The hike begins at the Da Strobel hut, with an easy crossing path that later climbs gently. The Alta Via delle Dolomiti no. 440 leads to the Rifugio Scoiattolo, known for its beautiful location at the foot of the Cinque Torri. Circumnavigate the impressive rock formation and then follow the gentle descent path to the Cinque Torri hut. Magnificent views of the Tofane, Averau, Hexenstein and Lagazuoi. Descent into the valley to the starting point.

Departures: at 8.30 am. at the bus stop at the end of Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena, 8.35 am. Val Casies Valley/S. Martino, 8.45 am. Val Casies Valley/Colle, 8.55 am. Tesido, 09.00 am. Monguelfo bus station in Via Stazione (opposite the Bar Parkcafé).

Costs: 15€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 25€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido. Registration: Online booking within the day before, 5.00 pm. via www.gsieser-tal.guest.net or directly at the tourist information office.
