The UK’s finest Brass Sextet
Established in 2009 by the extraordinary talents of David Childs, Philip Cobb, Owen Farr, and Richard Marshall, Eminence Brass began life as a quartet, earning acclaim on the global stage, captivating audiences in prestigious venues and festivals around the world.
Today the ensemble performs as both a quartet and a dynamic brass sextet,
featuring some of the UK’s finest brass soloists of orchestral and brass band
heritage. At the heart of Eminence Brass performances lies an eclectic repertoire
that spans centuries of musical brilliance. From the timeless classics of Purcell and Elgar to the contemporary masterpieces of Malcolm Arnold and beyond, each
concert is a vibrant tapestry of styles and eras providing an experience that is as
diverse as it is captivating.
The musicians of Eminence Brass are virtuoso soloists, and can be heard on
countless recordings, including those of the London Symphony Orchestra, English
National Opera, Black Dyke, Foden’s and Cory bands. With two award winning discs of their own, Tribute and Jewels, Eminence Brass looks forward to future recording projects in 2024.
Having performed throughout Europe, the Eminence Brass sextet will be performing in Merano for the first time. Comprising two trumpets/cornets, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba, their music transcends cultural boundaries, uniting listeners from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of music. Prepare to be dazzled by virtuosity and moved by lyrical beauty.
Don't miss your chance to witness brilliance in brass. Whether you're a dedicated fan of classical music, a lover of innovative compositions, or someone simply seeking an unforgettable musical experience, Eminence Brass invites you to join them on a musical journey like no other.
