Bolzano, 25 April – On 25 April, SUDWERK in Bolzano opens its doors for the very first Ditch Day – a festival that brings together the fresh, emerging South Tyrolean pop scene for an exceptional indoor experience.
Under the motto "follow the groove", three innovative newcomer bands will perform:
SINCE 11
Between the rugged Alps and a tropical cocktail on a Hawaiian beach, Since 11 unfolds its sound: a blend of indie rock and relaxed retro vibes, telling everyday stories with charismatic energy. And as a special treat: Since 11 is also launching brand-new, fresh music in 2025 – a taste of things to come.
ALEX the Judge & The forbidden fruits
This cross-border project, which pulses between Bolzano and Vienna, unfolds a genre mosaic of R&B, hip-hop, nu soul, funk, and jazz. With their first EP "Shapeshifter" and inspired by greats like Mac Miller and Anderson .Paak, they enchant the audience with clever, self-deprecating lyrics and a groovy live performance – which already contributed to their victory in the UploadSounds music competition in 2023.
BITA
Unique and authentic – Bita lives her music as her first language. After initial orchestral compositions, she established her unmistakable sound as a singer/songwriter with the single "Cutting Deep". Honest, approachable, and full of small imperfections that open up her world to listeners, she lends the stage an intimate, emotional atmosphere.
The evening will be topped off with an after-show set by DJ Manu Mischkonsum, whose beats perfectly round out the groove. Doors open at 8:30 pm.
