Corno del Renon Skiing Area

The Corno del Renon Cable Car whisk you up to the family-friendly ski resort of the same name, easily accessible even without a car. Near the Bolzano train station, the Renon Cable Car ascends to the sunny plateau above. From there, a bus takes you to Collalbo and Pemmern, where you can board the 8-person gondola lift. Arriving at the Punta Lago Nero peak (Schwarzseespitze), two further ski lifts take you to the 2,260-metre summit of the Corno del Renon in the Sarentino Alps.

The breathtaking 360-degree panorama extends all the way to the Dolomites. Fourteen kilometres of gentle, wide slopes await. At the middle station, you'll find the F-Tech Snow Park and the Corno del Renon Ski School practice area. A little further up at the Unterhorn is the "Toni the Eagle" children's fun park. At the top of the mountain, the snowkiting zone beckons, where skiers and snowboarders can be pulled across snowy alpine meadows and slopes by steerable kites.

The ski resort is part of the Ortler Skiarena and offers even more: the Corno del Renon natural toboggan run at the middle station, the Schönalm panoramic cross-country ski trail, also at the middle station, and Italy's first premium winter hiking trail. The Corno del Renon (Rittner Horn) is currently working on a 10-year project: the goal of the "Corno del Renon 2028" working group is to maintain and further develop the cable cars, hiking area, and ski resort.
